Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Service Field Engineer to support semiconductor photolithography equipment installations and service across customer sites.

This role is remote-from-home with 2 weeks in the field and 1 week at home, requiring travel nationwide and occasionally international travel. You will diagnose, install, and service Canon, Nikon, TEL, and ASML steppers/scanners, leading field projects with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of field service or maintenance work experience in the installation and servicing of one of the following: Canon, Nikon, ASML or TEL steppers and/or scanners.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical onsite and phone support to customers and junior Service Technicians in the installation, service and maintenance of Canon photolithography (steppers and scanners) equipment.
• Provide accurate and detailed daily pass downs when working at customer sites.
• Provide formal and informal customer training onsite when needed.
• To ensure service tooling and testing equipment is maintained in good operational and accurate manner.
• To share professional service skills with other service technicians.
• Meet or exceed all project/service budget and profit objectives.
• Maintain the highest possible established quality assurance standards.
• Develop and/or implement service procedures with the Service Manager and other Service Technicians.
• Maintain awareness of all technical related trends, advances and improvements and determine the activities that could affect the Service Department.
