Job summary

Akrion Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor wet and dry processing equipment. This remote role is based in Chandler, Arizona, with travel up to 80% to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and repairs.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide on-site and remote training, documentation, and after-hours support as needed. Candidates should have 3–5+ years in equipment service, strong troubleshooting, and proficiency with

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in electrical/electronics/ mechanical engineering or related field.
3–5+ years in semiconductor equipment service or a related technical field.
Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and related processes.
Willingness to travel up to 80% and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on semiconductor wet processing equipment
Install, commission, and support new equipment at customer sites per safety specs
Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and technical documentation
Provide on-site and remote technical support and training to customers
Document service activities and equipment issues using company reporting systems
Provide after-hours phone and on-site support as required
