Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to remotely oversee escrow processes, mortgage insurance, and vendor communications. The role demands strong analytical skills, system proficiency, and precision in reconciling complex mortgage transactions.

You will guide junior staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support monthly reviews while working from home with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College education preferred but not required.
• Experience using mortgage loan servicing and loan originating systems (FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase).
• Three to four years (3-4) of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and support junior staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loans with mortgage insurance and perform escrow-related tasks with regulatory compliance.
• Assist escrow management with boarding and reconciliation for recently acquired loan populations.
• Provide independent oversight of loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).
• Reconcile, process, and bulk transfer monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Communicate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Generate data points and support monthly business reviews with junior staff.
