Job summary

Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to join our Enterprise Field Engineering team. You will partner with sales to translate complex enterprise needs into proven, value-driven data solutions using Fivetran and dbt Labs capabilities.

You’ll lead prescriptive solution design, deliver demonstrations to executive audiences, and drive a rigorous proof-of-value process to win technical deals. This remote role supports SE US with 30%+ travel.

Qualifications

7+ years of enterprise solutions engineering experience driving end-to-end technical sales cycles.
Strong technical background with hands-on SQL, ELT, data modeling, analytics engineering or software development.
Firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures and ability to discuss them credibly with technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Understand customer business requirements and develop prescriptive solution recommendations.
Develop and deliver value-based, technical solution demonstrations to enterprise audiences.
Own the structured proof-of-value process to secure the technical win.
Collaborate with Product, Support, Customer Success and Engineering to align solutions with customer needs.
Own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansion.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and key partners.
Stay up-to-date on technologies and industry trends.
