Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering - Onboarding to lead a team focused on building scalable onboarding capabilities that support customer lifecycle management, automation, and operational efficiency.

The Senior Manager will partner with product, compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to shape a unified platform experience for business and consumer customers, mentoring engineers and guiding architectural direction in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in designing scalable distributed systems and APIs
• Proven ability to mentor and coach senior engineers
• Experience making architectural decisions for secure, reliable systems
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team responsible for the company’s customer onboarding and lifecycle management platform
• Build scalable onboarding automation for business and consumer customers
• Design a unified platform for managing customer relationship changes
• Guide development of partner-facing SDKs and APIs for seamless onboarding
• Create product-specific onboarding capabilities for compliance and eligibility
• Develop internal tools to support customer reviews and risk management
• Drive architectural decisions and foster a high-performing engineering team
