Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Engineering Manager, Enablement to guide engineering enablement efforts and strengthen how teams deliver high-quality software and support systems.

You will lead people management, planning, and execution across technical workstreams while partnering with Product, Design, and customer-facing teams. This remote role emphasizes continuous improvement across the SDLC and enterprise implementations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in engineering enablement, including platform engineering, DevOps/SRE, or data engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
• Proven ability to manage intake, prioritization, and capacity planning without a dedicated Product Manager.
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with enterprise clients and stakeholders.
• Passion for continuous learning and AI/LLMs.
• Experience leading on-call and blameless incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Own intake and capacity planning while balancing roadmap commitments and operational demands.
• Facilitate blameless incident reviews and ensure follow-through on action items.
• Design and deliver quality work following best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Support Professional Services in customer implementations and integrations.
• Partner with Product Management and Design to align enablement work with product roadmaps.
• Champion automation and continuous improvement to enhance team efficiency.
