Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead a team delivering platform capabilities for critical workflows in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role focuses on planning, execution, and quality while partnering with stakeholders to align engineering with business needs.

You will foster continuous improvement, set measurable goals, conduct 1:1s, and promote code reviews to grow team expertise.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional development experience leading teams on large projects.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
Extensive experience designing workflows using a low-code application development platform.
Strong background in case management, including case types and lifecycle automation.
Deep understanding of Agile principles with mentoring experience.
Demonstrated use of AI in project execution.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and completion of platform feature delivery.
Analyze interactions between system components to ensure integrity and reliability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership.
Set measurable performance goals and conduct regular 1:1s.
Use code reviews as opportunities to develop team expertise.
Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic insights.
Proactively address conflicts and engage in difficult conversations.
