You will balance technical leadership with hands-on coding or architecture work, guiding design, delivery, and quality while collaborating with product, security, and government partners.

This remote-first role offers a compensation range of $135,900 to $153,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to public service.

Qualifications

• 10+ years working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, designing and building cloud-based software.
• 1+ years experience as a People Manager.
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade, cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering management and provide technical leadership across cross-functional product teams.
• Write and review code, technical specs, and architectural designs.
• Guide planning, estimation, prioritization, and trade-offs; manage technical debt and milestones.
