Job summary

One Call is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead several engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software for a remote-first, globally distributed environment.

You will drive technical direction, manage roadmaps with cross-functional partners, and foster a culture of innovation and high accountability. The role spans 1–2 product areas with 10–15 engineers under your leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience across multiple teams.
• Proven experience with cloud-native environments (AWS/AZURE/GCP).
• Experience leading globally distributed, remote-first teams.
• Track record delivering enterprise software in regulated settings (SOC2/HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure software.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture on roadmaps with speed and quality.
• Ensure teams align with business outcomes and measure KPIs (velocity, quality, availability).
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, manage performance and career growth.
• Champion code quality, observability, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Oversee offshore teams and ensure alignment with standards and delivery expectations.
• Own operational health of applications, including uptime and incident response.
• Drive strategic programs like platform modernization and debt reduction.
• Collaborate across functions to deliver integrated solutions.
