Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. (HQCA) is seeking a Senior Manager of Energy Storage Solutions Sales to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for behind-the-meter and community-scale storage.

The role focuses on leveraging Qcells’ hardware and Geli software to help customers optimize bill savings in the Northeast, with a remote work setup across the United States. The candidate will lead strategic sales in Community Scale, Commercial and Industrial segments, build executive relationships,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred); Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in energy storage.
• Proven track record of BTM or community-scale storage sales in the Northeast.
• Strong knowledge of rate structures, RA, PDR, DRAM, SGIP, DSGS, and TOU management strategies.
• Established network of developers, CCAs, EPCs, or large C&I customers in the Northeast.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-suite and senior decision-makers.
• Travel may be required up to 50%, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Sales of Energy Storage hardware and Software in Community Scale, Commercial and Industrial segments.
• Identify and close opportunities with C&I customers, CCAs, developers, EPCs, and aggregators.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with California’s rate structures and program opportunities.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers.
• Guide customers on how to optimize project economics through RA, PDR, DRAM, SGIP, DSGS, and bill savings.
• Maintain market intelligence on tariff structures, incentive programs, and regulatory developments for BTM storage.
• Collaborate with technical, product, and commercial teams to structure competitive solutions.
• Lead outbound prospecting and partnerships to expand the sales pipeline.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support proposal development through contract execution.
• Represent Qcells in the Northeast storage market at forums, events, and partnerships.
