Job summary

Cascade Energy seeks a Senior Engineer I with RCx and energy-efficiency expertise to lead projects and mentor peers. You will gather data, build optimization models, and prepare feasibility reports for energy-efficiency initiatives in industrial and commercial facilities.

You will travel to sites, quantify savings, and ensure compliance with utility programs while expanding client relationships across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; 5–8 years engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam systems, electrical distribution, data-logging of results.
• Experience in energy efficiency for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience with retro-commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, mentoring peers through technical discussions and reviews.
• Quantify energy savings from system changes using established tools and methodologies.
• Visit industrial facilities to assess operations, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations to clients.
• Collect and document performance data, write energy-efficiency project reports, and maintain knowledge of utility programs and compliance.
