Job summary

Cascade Energy seeks a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and RCx experience to lead client engagements in industrial and commercial facilities. You will gather data, develop optimization models, and write feasibility reports while managing projects from discovery to delivery.

You will mentor peers, ensure quality control, and apply established energy-saving methodologies across teams. Travel up to 20% is expected and you can work without a fixed office location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field; 5–8 years engineering experience.
• Expert technical knowledge: refrigeration, compressed air, steam systems, electrical distribution, data-logging of results.
• Experience in energy efficiency for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience performing retro-commissioning (RCx).
• Experience with Strategic Energy Management (SEM).
• Strong project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-profile energy projects with mentorship and peer reviews.
• Quantify energy savings using established tools and methodologies.
• Visit facilities to assess operations, identify energy-efficiency opportunities, and develop recommendations.
• Collect data, write energy-efficiency project reports, and maintain program compliance.
