Job summary

UKG Inc. is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner within the People & Employment Practices (PEP) team in the United States.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners, guiding on a broad range of ER matters with a focus on fair, respectful, compliant workplace decisions. You will independently manage ER matters, support leadership through performance challenges, and collaborate with Legal, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent policy application

Qualifications

• 5+ years in employee relations with hands-on ER matters (performance, conduct, separations).
• Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR policies.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting ER in large, complex or dispersed org.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and navigate sensitive situations.
• Strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Experience partnering with HRBPs, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience using ER data to identify trends and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ER matters from intake to resolution, including performance, conduct, actions, and separations.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance management, coaching, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Coach leaders on performance management and difficult conversations.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations, HRBPs and others to address sensitive matters and ensure policy application.
• Support ER activities during organizational changes and workforce reductions.
• Identify ER trends and opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.
• Contribute to ER tools, templates, and data-driven processes.
