Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners, handling a broad range of ER matters with judgment and risk awareness.

You will independently manage cases, coach leaders on performance management, and collaborate with Legal and HRBPs to ensure consistent policy application while supporting organizational changes and improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in employee relations, incl. managing ER matters solo.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR policies.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience supporting ER in large, distributed org.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and assess sensitive situations.
• Strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Organizational and case management skills to drive timely resolutions.
• Experience partnering with HRBPs, Legal, and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience using ER data to identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ER matters from intake to resolution, including investigations and separations.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Coach leaders on performance management and difficult conversations.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations and stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.
• Support ER activities during restructures and workforce reductions.
• Identify ER trends and opportunities to improve processes and risk.
• Help develop ER tools, templates, and data-driven improvements.
