Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner to advise business leaders and HR partners on employee relations matters, balancing risk, policy, and people impact in a fast-paced environment.

You will independently manage ER cases from intake to resolution, coach leaders on performance management, partner with Legal and HRBPs, and help scale tools and data-driven processes across a nationwide workforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive ER experience managing performance, conduct, actions, and separations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR policies.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting ER in large, complex, geographically dispersed org.
• Independent judgment, navigate sensitive situations, provide practical guidance.
• Strong consultation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational and case management skills with competing priorities.
• Experience partnering with HRBPs, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience using ER data and case management systems to identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ER matters from intake through resolution, including performance concerns, workplace conduct, disciplinary actions, and separations; gather information, assess risks, recommend actions, ensure follow-up and documentation.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance management, leader coaching, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Coach and influence leaders on conversations and addressing employee concerns.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations, HRBPs and stakeholders to address sensitive matters and ensure policy adherence.
• Support ER activities during restructures and employment separations.
• Identify ER trends and opportunities to improve processes and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to ER tools, templates, and processes leveraging data for efficiency.
