Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Partner within the People & Employment Practices (PEP) team. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners, providing practical, risk-informed guidance on employee relations matters, promoting a fair and compliant workplace, and supporting leaders through performance challenges and employment decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, including hands-on management of performance, conduct, and separations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws, HR policies, and ER practices.
• Experience supporting ER in a large, dispersed organization.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ER matters from intake to resolution, gathering information, assessing risks, and documenting cases.
• Advise managers and HRBPs on performance management, coaching, actions, and terminations.
• Coach leaders on difficult conversations and escalation of sensitive matters.
• Partner with Legal, Investigations, HRBPs, and stakeholders to ensure policy compliance.
• Support ER activities during organizational changes and restructures.
• Identify ER trends and opportunities to improve processes and risk management.
• Contribute to ER tools, templates, and data-driven improvements.
