Job summary

Relativity is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor and lead complex investigations across the organization. You will partner with Legal, HRBPs, and senior leadership to ensure fair, compliant outcomes that strengthen our culture as we scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years HR experience with at least 3 years in employee relations or compliance.
  • Experience leading investigations independently.
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end investigations into complex employee relations matters.
  • Assess credibility, synthesize evidence, and produce legally defensible findings and recommendations.
  • Partner with Legal to manage risk, escalation, and compliance.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies globally, accounting for regional legal differences.
  • Advise on high-risk performance cases including PIPs and involuntary separations.
  • Ensure structured, documented performance processes with clear timelines and metrics.
  • Differentiate between performance vs. capability vs. organizational issues in partnership with HRBPs.
  • Drive consistency in disciplinary actions and fairness across managers.
