Job summary

Blackboard is seeking a Senior Educational Consultant to join the Educational Consulting & Training team, supporting LMS implementations, training, and instructional design for higher education, government, and business customers. This remote US role involves 50% travel and collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.

The candidate will lead projects, deliver trainings, and create implementation reports while managing a portfolio of strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years of consulting experience with education focus.
• Experience implementing software solutions in diverse client environments.
• Experience with e-learning course management technology, preferably Blackboard.
• Knowledge of global higher education or public education markets.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Ability to work in a geographically distributed virtual team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and map Blackboard products to those needs.
• Develop customer-specific implementation plans and timelines.
• Present at meetings with prospects and senior leadership.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans for customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product Development on solutions.
• Coordinate with Blackboard departments for large/strategic accounts.
