Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead on-site and cloud-based deployments nationwide. The role involves configuring solutions, testing, and post-cut support for on-premise and cloud environments, with heavy travel.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in deployment/integration of complex IP products, cloud certs, and strong knowledge of server virtualization and AD. Remote work is offered with up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+/Security+.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud-based apps, connectivity, latency, and identity management.
• Experience with virtualization and server OS administration.
• Public Safety applications deployment and integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Conducts site verification testing before production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly.
• Contributes to MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
