Placements24 is seeking a Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer for a fully remote role supporting global drilling operations from your home office. You will design and optimize drilling fluid programs, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues with rig crews worldwide, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with engineers to integrate fluids planning into well construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer.
Strong knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and additives.
Experience with remote operations and global projects.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage drilling fluid programs tailored to well objectives and formations.
Monitor drilling fluid performance remotely, analyzing data for optimal rheology and properties.
Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for drilling fluid issues worldwide.
Ensure environmental regulations and best practices for drilling fluid management and disposal.
Conduct laboratory testing to validate fluid properties and develop new formulations.
Collaborate with drilling engineers to integrate fluids planning with well design and execution.
