You will provide expert technical guidance, develop optimized fluid programs, and troubleshoot complex challenges encountered during well construction worldwide. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage drilling fluid programs tailored to specific well objectives and geological formations.
  • Monitor drilling fluid performance remotely, analyzing data to ensure optimal rheology, density, and chemical properties.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for drilling fluid-related issues encountered by rig crews globally.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer, with a strong track record in diverse drilling environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, rheology, and additive functionalities.
  • Familiarity with solids control equipment, mud mixing systems, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of drilling hydraulics, wellbore stability, and formation damage mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
