EOG Resources is seeking an experienced drilling engineer to lead well planning and design, develop AFEs, and manage vendor services across multiple basins in the US. The role requires strong HPHT knowledge, offshore/onshore drilling experience, and the ability to collaborate with G&G, Reservoir, and regulatory teams.
Candidates should have 7–10+ years in oil and gas, with 7+ years focused on drilling, and be willing to travel and relocate as needed.
Duties will include but not be limited to well planning and design, writing AFEs, bidding and awarding vendor services, analyzing drilling performance & costs, providing operational engineering support, evaluating vendor performance, and investigation and application of new technologies to improve drilling performance and cost efficiencies in development and exploration drilling programs. A successful candidate will have experience across multiple basins in conventional and unconventional resource plays. Working effectively with G&G, Reservoir, Completion, Land, Construction and Regulatory groups will be required. This position will provide engineering support and potentially engineering guidance for multiple drilling engineers, rig operations & well site supervisors in the International Division.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
