Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set the vision and steer global clinical research, product development, and medical strategy across hematology and related areas.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this role partners with external partners, KOLs, and cross-functional teams to drive health economics, reimbursement strategies, and global scientific positioning of the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level required (MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP) with extensive medical/clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist or equivalent certification is expected.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership to create transparent, collaborative, and innovative teams.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaborative efforts between business leaders and research teams for product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing.
• Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies for Beckman solutions.
• Develop strategic academic partnerships and solicit investigator-initiated proposals aligned with Beckman research needs.
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive scientific exchange and product guidance.
• Oversee pre-launch activities, commercialization, and lifecycle management through evidence generation and education.
