Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to shape strategy and lead cross-functional teams in product development, clinical research and regulatory matters.

The role partners with the Chief Medical Officer and external stakeholders, driving health economics, policy, and reimbursement while expanding academic collaborations and physician engagement globally.

Qualifications

• Doctorate-level degree (MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP) with extensive medical/clinical affairs experience.
• Board-certified hematologist with strong clinical credentials.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive cross-functional teams with transparency.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience focusing on strategic goals and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategic direction for Specialty Testing and manage daily operations related to product development, clinical research and regulatory submissions.
• Represent medical/scientific affairs externally to partners and societies; engage with KOLs and academic collaborators.
• Lead health economics, policy and reimbursement strategies; guide pre-launch and lifecycle management.
• Build strategic relationships with external stakeholders to advance evidence generation and product advancement.
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization and education to fuel future growth.
