Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs – Specialty Testing to set vision and lead cross‑functional medical programs globally.

You will partner with external partners and internal teams to advance product development, clinical research, and regulatory efforts, influencing strategy and patient outcomes on a worldwide scale.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree with medical/clinical background.
• Board-certified hematologist.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership that fosters transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills with influence across levels.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with strategic goals.
• Extensive clinical experience beyond hematology including bone health, anemia, and immunology.

Responsibilities

• Steer collaborative efforts between business leaders and research teams to define priorities for product development, regulatory submissions, and marketing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across matrix organizations to share information and achieve goals.
• Establish strategic academic partnerships for future research and innovation.
• Lead global health economics, policy, and reimbursement strategies for Beckman solutions.
• Build and maintain influential relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to shape technology directions.
• Translate clinical and scientific insights from KOLs into guidance for product development teams.
• Support pre-launch initiatives, commercialization, and lifecycle management through education and evidence generation.
