Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Senior Director of Industry and Payor Strategy to lead strategic partnerships, payor networks, and market access. The role drives multiyear plans, negotiates with manufacturers and payors, and guides cross-functional teams to expand access and profitability.

Leading a seasoned team, you’ll shape executive-level partnerships with manufacturers, PBMs, and health systems, ensuring compliant, sustainable growth aligned with Lumicera’s enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Health Services, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA/MHA/PharmD preferred.
• 10+ years in specialty pharmacy, market access, or payor strategy.
• 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing teams or leaders.
• Contract negotiation experience, preferably in specialty or PBM rebates.
• Knowledge of LDD, REMS, and specialty medications.
• Participation in compliance programs and adherence to objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Advise C-suite on market positioning and enterprise growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop the industry and payor strategy team with clear accountability.
• Build leadership capability and align structure with evolving priorities.
• Develop multiyear strategic plan, budgets, and measurable growth objectives.
• Oversee executive alignment and drive cross-functional sponsorship of initiatives.
• Define payor strategy across health plans, PBMs, and purchasers.
• Direct complex negotiations and oversee contracting, compliance, and economics.
• Develop executive relationships with manufacturers, payors, PBMs, and health systems.
• Create differentiated payor and industry value propositions and scalable offerings.
• Establish contracting governance, profitability analysis, and renewal priorities.
• Own access strategy for LDD opportunities and launch readiness.
