Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Sr.Director, Industry and Payor Strategy to lead and implement a multiyear strategy expanding access and payor networks. You will manage executive-level relationships with manufacturers, health plans, PBMs, and GPOs to drive growth and profitability.

You will own the multiyear strategic plan, oversee budgets, and lead a team to translate industry insights into strategic actions across commercial, clinical, and operations functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Health Services, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA, MHA, or PharmD preferred.
• 10+ years in specialty pharmacy, market access, payor or PBM strategy, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including leading teams or leaders.
• Experience in contract negotiation with PBMs, manufacturers, or payors.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy medications, REMS, and LDD best practices.
• Compliance-focused with ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Chief Growth Officer and senior leadership on market positioning, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing industry and payor strategy team with clear accountability.
• Build organizational capability through leadership development and succession planning.
• Own multiyear strategic plan, annual priorities, budgets, and growth objectives.
• Foster executive relationships with manufacturers, payors, PBMs, health systems, and partners.
• Define payor strategy across health plans, PBMs, and purchasers to expand access.
• Direct complex negotiations for distribution, procurement, and network access.
• Oversee contracting governance, profitability analyses, and compliance.
• Align partnerships to drive access, reduce costs, and sustainable growth.
• Uphold Lumicera’s mission and values in all partnerships.
