Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead and scale the teams behind Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement. You will partner with design, engineering, and analytics to translate insights into a scalable product vision and roadmap.

You will serve as the domain authority on loan lifecycle mechanics and payment rails, driving alignment across Legal, Finance, and executive leadership while enabling international expansion and faster time-to-market for new geographies.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in product management with 3–5 years leading PM teams.
• Deep experience in loans or lending systems and lifecycle mechanics.
• Experience in money movement, payments infrastructure, or financial operations.
• Background in fintech, banking, BNPL; platform infra is a plus.
• Proven ability to set and execute long-term platform strategy.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss data models and APIs.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tools to accelerate work.
• Track record of building and scaling distributed PM teams across domains.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing PM team; mentor and manage 6–10 PMs.
• Own the vision and strategy for Loans Lifecycle and Money Movement.
• Be the domain authority on loan lifecycle mechanics and payment rails.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and more.
• Enable platform scalability and international expansion.
• Define success metrics and improve platform health and reliability.
• Influence senior leadership with strategy, tradeoffs, and priorities.
