Riot Platforms is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Solutions Engineering to lead technical pre-sales and solution design for data center customers. The role partners with Sales, owning the technical evaluation stage on priority AI and Hyperscale opportunities, translating complex requirements into scalable, standards-based proposals and cost estimates.

Formación

• 8+ years of technical experience in data center, cloud, or mission-critical infrastructure, AI and Hyperscale experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Proven track record winning complex technical deals as a hands-on solutions engineer or design lead.
• Deep knowledge of data center systems, power, cooling, cabling, network, and compliance.
• Ability to build and defend cost models, bills of materials, and scopes of work.
• Strong communication skills with technical teams and executive stakeholders, including customer C-level leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the technical lead on priority hyperscale and enterprise opportunities, translating customer business and IT infrastructure requirements into data center solutions.
• Lead solution requirement sessions with clients and vendors, delivering technical proposals, architectural overviews, and facility tours.
• Support Sales in positioning solutions and reviewing technical exhibits and lease terms, ensuring commitments align with what our sites can deliver.
• Conduct detailed assessments of power, cooling, network, and space requirements for customer deployments.
• Develop and review cost estimates, bills of materials, and scopes of work for large-scale infrastructure deployments.
• Establish standard templates, processes, and design review practices for the team.
• Own technical content for RFP/RFI responses and support QBRs and periodic business reviews.
• Represent Riot at customer sites, OEM facilities, trade conferences, and industry events.
