Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. seeks a Senior SVP of Engineering for Riot Data Centers to lead cross-disciplinary engineering, establish standards, and drive delivery discipline across mechanical, electrical, and controls. You will manage talent, coordinate with design and construction, and govern vendor engagements.

Role requires 15+ years in data centers, strong leadership, and ability to travel to site locations as needed. Excellent communication across executive teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree a plus.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in the data center market.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-discipline engineering teams with people management.
• Strong executive communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish engineering standards and QA/QC protocols across all disciplines.
• Own technical review and approval at major milestones to ensure design integrity.
• Lead and develop the Engineering team and career growth paths.
• Oversee external consultants, EORs, and vendor deliverables.
• Collaborate with Design Management and Construction for integrated delivery.
