Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead pre-sales and design tailored data center solutions for major customers. Drive technical engagements, collaborate with Sales, Design Engineering, Operations and Legal to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure.

The role requires guiding complex proposals, documenting scopes of work, and aligning with company standards while traveling up to 30% across NA and emerging markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related field.
• 7–10 years in solutions engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand objectives, requirements and challenges.
• Conduct site surveys and due diligence to gather infrastructure needs.
• Support RFPs, RFIs and technical due diligence with site-specific solutions.
• Present solutions through technical presentations, demos and site visits.
• Ensure accurate handoff documentation and seamless transitions to delivery teams.
