Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. Fully remote with preference for Central Time Zone hours, onsite as needed within 50 miles of a branch per policy.

The role partners with leaders to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive performance across the agency. The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years in operational leadership for Commercial Lines, a valid P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations are strongly

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable efficiency improvements.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process optimization to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and service demands.
• Support M&A integration planning and workflow alignment.
