Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations with a focus on standardization, process improvement, and strategic initiatives. Remote work preferred within Central Time Zone hours, with possible hybrid onsite requirements as needed.

The role demands 5–7+ years of leadership in Commercial Lines, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC strongly preferred, and experience with M&A integration.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

• Commercial Lines Strategy: Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Workflow Standardization: Promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows across the organization.
• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: Evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing to support growth and excellence.
• M&A Integration Support: Support merger activities through planning and alignment.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: Promote EPIC and related tools for better performance.
