Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide Commercial P&C operations from a remote location in the United States. The role partners with regional leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive client outcomes while supporting growth and integration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, likely CPCU/CIC, with 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage or agency, and

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: develop and execute initiatives to strengthen operations, service delivery, and performance.
• Operational Excellence: identify challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Workflow Standardization: promote standardized workflows and best practices.
• Process Optimization: lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: evaluate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Workforce Planning: analyze staffing, workload, and service demand to develop capacity plans.
• Managed Services Alignment: ensure efficient resource use and alignment with goals.
• Technical Expertise: serve as national Commercial P&C SME, advising on operations and systems.
• M&A Integration Support: support integration planning and standardization.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: build partnerships with producers and leadership.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: promote utilization of EPIC, workflows, and analytics.
• Performance Analysis: use metrics and BI to identify improvements.
• Change Leadership: drive adoption of new processes and practices.
