Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely on a high-visibility DHS OCIO data platform. You will guide a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and staff to deliver data solutions that empower federal customers.

The role emphasizes lean-agile practices, model deployment, and scalable data architectures across cloud-native environments. You will mentor engineers, evaluate new big data technologies, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience in design, analysis, and implementation of large-scale data architectures.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience in data management, data warehousing, and big data tooling.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native data and AI technologies.
• Experience mentoring engineers and working in Agile environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Complete development across data pipelines and data provisioning.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data architects, and stakeholders to deploy models.
• Write code for data extraction and processing performance.
• Automate data ingest processes.
• Lead lean-agile projects with API-first design and CI practices.
