Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to work remotely on a high-visibility DHS OCIO initiative. You will guide a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, developers and staff, coordinating planning, execution, and governance.

The role requires 7+ years of IT project management experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT/technology project management experience.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in data analytics, data science.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects from planning to deployment.
• Facilitating weekly meetings with senior federal staff to align progress.
• Developing relationships with federal stakeholders to drive initiatives.
• Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams to goals.
• Maintaining a project roadmap and scheduling, risks, and priorities.
• Delivering status updates to federal stakeholders and supporting monthly deliverables.
• Maintaining budget forecasting, ROM estimates, and cost-tracking docs.
• Mentoring junior project team members as needed.
