Job summary

SPRCHRGR, a U.S.-based professional services consultancy, seeks a Senior Controller to lead client accounting operations with a focus on GAAP compliance, financial planning, and process improvement. You will work with our Accounting Operations team remotely to optimize internal controls and reporting for diverse startups and nonprofits across the US.

The role offers fully remote work, strong mentoring, and the chance to advance toward CFO-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Ability to oversee and review corporate accounting functions.
• Experience implementing and managing accounting policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with the highest level of accounting support.
• Direct all accounting functions, including payroll, AR/collections, expenses, taxes, and revenue recognition.
• Manage communications with clients to identify opportunities to improve the client’s bottom line.
• Oversee overall fiscal operations and maintain relationships with outside partners as needed.
• Provide ongoing financial analysis to inform business decisions.
• Lead in compliance with financial and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations on technical accounting challenges.
