Job summary

Jobgether SRL, acting on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Controller in the United States to lead senior accounting, reporting, and FP&A for a diverse client portfolio.

You will oversee payroll, AR, taxes, revenue recognition, and financial reporting while guiding clients on performance improvements and strategic decision-making. Remote, W-2 compensation, and mentoring opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting practices.
• Ability to oversee, review, and manage comprehensive accounting functions.
• Experience with complex financial modeling and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting compliance requirements and implementing policies.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Tables, XLOOKUP, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality accounting support and strategic financial guidance to a portfolio of clients.
• Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, expenses, taxes, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Review corporate accounting activities for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Manage client communications and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Direct internal accounting programs and coordinate with external partners and vendors.
• Deliver ongoing financial analysis and insights to business leaders for strategic decisions.
• Provide leadership in meeting financial, accounting, and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with Accounting Operations to resolve technical challenges and improve processes.
• Partner with Finance Managers and CFO team to expand FP&A capabilities.
• Streamline processes and improve accounting systems and technology.
