Job summary

DigitalOcean seeks an accomplished Contracts Director to join a fast-growing cloud company shaping AI and software. You will collaborate with the sales team and the Associate General Counsel to design scalable processes, templates, and tools for enterprise agreements.

You will lead negotiations on AI services, PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS, build risk-aware legal tooling, and drive efficient contract lifecycle management with Finance and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of negotiation experience in the technology sector.
• Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Experience partnering across GTM, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
• Excellent business judgment and communication with risk management.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate complex and innovative commercial arrangements for AI services and cloud offerings.
• Develop and improve templates, playbooks, and risk frameworks to support scalable ops.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive quote-to-cash and automation.
• Lead or participate in high-priority projects as directed by leadership.
