DigitalOcean is seeking a Contracts Director to lead complex commercial negotiations and scalable processes for AI services, cloud offerings, and strategic partnerships. You will partner with GTM, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to structure deals, drive efficiency, and ensure sound risk management.

The role emphasizes rapid delivery, process optimization, and collaboration with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving cloud company. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of negotiation experience in technology/enterprise transactions.
• Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and execute complex commercial and partnership agreements.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and emerging AI offerings.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with GTM, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
• Excellent business judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects with minimal oversight to meet timelines.
• Low-ego, hands-on attitude with growth mindset.
• Ability to calibrate risk and provide actionable guidance to stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate complex and innovative commercial arrangements for AI services, PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
• Develop and improve templates, playbooks, and risk management frameworks.
• Support Quote-to-Cash and contract lifecycle improvements across the business.
• Lead or participate in strategic projects and initiatives as directed by leadership.
