Qualifications

• 4-6 years experience in managing 3rd party bodily injury and property damage litigated claims for both insured and self-insured clients, including directing defense counsel, evaluating exposure, and negotiating settlements.
• Licensing required in some states.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and time management skills to delegate work appropriately and organize resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plans and conducts investigations of multi-party construction bodily injury and property damage liability claims across jurisdictions.
• Independently manage moderate to high exposure claims involving Commercial General Liability policies including OCIP, CCIP and Self-Insured Retention programs.
• Drive proactive claim outcomes through early investigations and strategic decision making.
• Own the full claim lifecycle from coverage analysis and reserving to negotiation and resolution – by making timely, well-supported decisions.
• Actively manage litigation, set clear expectations with clients and counsel, and pursue early resolution strategies to reduce cycle time, legal spend, and overall claim severity.
• Mentor and elevate team performance through coaching; provide real-time guidance on coverage, liability, and investigation strategy.
