Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks a Senior Configuration Analyst to support VA applications and lead CM/release engineering in a remote, full-time role. You will develop and maintain CM tools, ensure repeatable build and deployment processes, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

The position requires deep CM expertise, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to mentor junior analysts while advancing cloud-based configurations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex software builds/releases.
• Experience in large/regulatory or federal environments.
• Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering to document, align with hardware configurations, and ensure logistically sustainable processes.
• Build, deploy, and automate software product development; maintain CM standards.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices; mentor junior analysts/engineers.
