Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst - II to lead software configuration management and release engineering across VA programs. This remote role requires expertise in CM tools, scripting, and DevOps within regulated federal environments.

Responsibilities include building, configuring, and deploying software, leading junior analysts, and ensuring compliant, repeatable processes. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field.
Experience in regulated federals environments and CM.
Strong CM and release engineering background.
Proficiency in source control and CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with IaC and environment management.
Ability to train and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

Lead CM and release engineering across environments.
Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting and delivery.
Design build procedures to support product development.
Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor team members.
Ensure repeatable, compliant build and deployment processes.
