Job summary

SOLV Energy is actively seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Sr. CPM & Portfolio Delivery across utility-scale solar, battery storage, and HV substations.

This remote role requires guiding a multi-project commissioning program, ensuring milestones, readiness reviews, and effective cross-functional collaboration from early engagement through closeout. The successful candidate will mentor the Sr.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in EPC commissioning, project management, construction management, or delivery of utility-scale electrical or renewable-energy projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• PMP or other relevant project-management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Establish goals, workload priorities, and accountability aligned with company objectives.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop employees while supporting succession planning and career growth.
• Build a culture of safety, ownership, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility of commissioning schedules, milestones, readiness, risks, and resource needs.
• Ensure Sr. CPM ownership and integrated commissioning plans across regions and project types.
• Oversee engagement with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Safety.
