Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function and provide portfolio-level oversight for Testing & Commissioning across SOLV Energy projects. This remote role drives standardization, readiness, and cross-functional coordination from early engagement through closeout.

You will partner with HV and BESS/PV leaders and manage a cross-region Sr. CPM team to deliver safe, reliable commissioning outcomes across solar, storage, and HV

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EPC commissioning or related renewable-energy project delivery.
• Experience leading multi-project or portfolio-level teams.
• Proven ability to integrate commissioning into schedules, budgets, and plans.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and HV commissioning interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Construction Management; PMP preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Establish goals, workload priorities, and accountability across regions and project types.
• Hire, onboard, develop, and mentor employees; support succession planning.
• Build a culture of safety, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model and governance across portfolio and regions.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility of schedules, readiness, risks, resources, and performance.
