Job summary

Symetra is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager to lead and optimize the servicing of our commercial real estate mortgage portfolio. This remote-friendly role will guide a high-performing team across loan accounting, payments, reporting, and compliance, while partnering with technology and business functions to enhance processes and controls.

You will drive operational excellence, mentor staff, manage vendors, and support audits and regulatory requirements as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible commercial real estate mortgage loan servicing or related experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing employees.
• Experience managing vendors and partnering across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing loan servicing team through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee day-to-day servicing operations including loan accounting, payment processing, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
• Provide technical supervision in customer service, loan accounting, payment processing, and system management.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk through technology and workflow improvements.
• Ensure timely and accurate servicing of the commercial mortgage portfolio while maintaining service standards.
