Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines for remote work in the Eastern/Central time zones. The role supports account teams, producers, and clients, ensuring accurate renewals and strong service delivery across moderately complex accounts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, solid brokerage knowledge, and an active license (CISR preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients, ensuring renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Process policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, and follow up for policy issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
