Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to support the account team, producers, and clients. The role involves renewals, endorsements, submissions, and liaising with carriers to secure coverage and pricing while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing preferred, and strong MS Office skills. Remote/ Eastern/Central Time Zone work model applies with onsite needs in some cases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and assistants
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related paperwork
• Support new and renewal business processes, gather underwriting information, prepare proposals
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections
• Maintain agency management systems and data integrity
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and adhere to company policies
• Seek continuous improvement and embody IOA values
