Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of a Manager, AE, or Producer. The role emphasizes renewals, policy administration, and service excellence for commercial clients within a remote/hybrid model centered in the Eastern/Central time zones.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of insurance customer service, broker knowledge, licensing, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business through research, submissions, and proposal preparation.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and continuously improve processes.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
