Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager III/Senior to oversee an existing portfolio and pursue new business opportunities with targeted prospects, typically companies with annual sales of $50MM or more. You’ll coordinate with product partners to cross-sell a full range of banking solutions, structure loans, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of commercial banking experience.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and develop new business.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of credit policies and loan structuring.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business with assigned customers and prospects.
• Serve as primary advisor for an assigned portfolio of commercial relationships.
• Cross-sell products and services with product partners.
• Review portfolio to reduce risk and improve profitability.
• Facilitate loan structuring, pricing, and documentation.
• Resolve customer issues with product experts as needed.
• Engage in community functions to build referrals.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and laws.
• Manage large loan/deposit portfolios and annual contributions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
